Health Research Methodology Program, McMaster University

The Health Research Methodology (HRM) Program in the Faculty of Health Sciences provides training at the MSc and PhD level. The HRM Program offers an interdisciplinary educational model that draws on faculty members from numerous departments and disciplines in the faculties of Health Sciences, Science and Social Sciences, including clinical epidemiology, biostatistics, health economics, health policy analysis, health services research, geography, psychology, sociology, anthropology, and political science.

The HRM Program offers students the opportunity to specialize in one of five fields. The fields of specialization are:

  • Clinical Epidemiology
  • Biostatistics
  • Health Services Research
  • Population and Public Health
  • Health Technology Assessment
