Jean-Eric is an associate professor in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McMaster University, and faculty director of PATH’s Trial and Economic Modelling Methodology Program.  He is also an associate member of the Department of Economics, member of the Centre for Health Economics and Policy Analysis (CHEPA) at McMaster University, and a member of the Centre for Evaluations of Medicines, affiliated with St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.  In 2007 Jean-Eric was awarded a Career Scientist Award from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.  He teaches in the Health Research Methodology Program and the Department of Economics at McMaster University.  His main research focus is methods for the economic evaluation of health technologies, treatment of uncertainty in health technology assessment and decision-making processes.  Jean-Eric received his BA and MA from Université des Sciences Sociales de Toulouse in France and his PhD in Economics from Concordia University in Montreal.
