By the end of the course, participants will be familiar with:
- Decision trees, state-transition and Markov models
- Microsimulation models
- Discrete event simulation models
- Infectious disease models
- Other modelling approaches (e.g., agent-based models, system dynamics models, causal inference models, biologic systems models)
- Handling uncertainty and variability
- Handling dynamic transmissions and herd immunity
- Handling individual behaviour and waiting lines
